Pfff... well you should know what you are in for

I think these days... It's always worth knowing what you are going in for, etc so you can make sure they haven't mixed you up with someone else... even if only to make sure they aren't chopping off something you'd rather hold onto

its not that simple, theres alsorts of abbreviations etc,

u/es  ldh   afd   bhcg,    and thats only te information ive had since. do you undrerstand all that,

this one of the things I bought up with the nurse when I got my season flu jab.  At first she was doing the standard 'how good it was' to have the swine flu jab but the conversation quickly turned to the trials on 1000 children that were done and how she WOULDN'T have allowed her child to be a guinea pig.

So what she said to me was ambiguous, particularly when she realised I had looked into things!

u/es = eating too much red meat
ldh = staying up too late at nights on forums
afd = liking a drink
bhcg = being a grumpy old sod

See... I knew them all

Worth trying to keep on top of everything they are talking about any time you do go though, and knowing what they are expecting to do to you next time around, just to avoid any wrong or delayed tests if nothing else.

out of interest anyone had/gonna have the swine flu jab?

both me and mum have had both our seasonal flu jab and swine flu today, our practice closed this afternoon and all staff were just giving jabs 10 staff doing a patient every 5 mins for 5 1/2 hours, have had a massive up take out off 900 eliable in the first round of people, by the end of today more than half will have had with most already having appointments.
nurse told us that there had been no reports of reactions in the week or so they have been giving them but several had complained of sore arms the day after the seasonal jab and a few had slight reactions.
