yeah i took them a while back wish i still had that camera tho it did all the work the one i have now does not zoom as well it ends up all blearyif i zoom to far, the osprey one was taken at the fishery last summer took many attempts to get that one but then they would catch about 10 fish a day between the pair when they had young was just a case of sitting waiting and hoping i was in the right place have a load that were no are rubbish blarred out of focus and generally crap

Not a patch on Andy's, but I'll bung this one in - taken this afternoon - it was harvesting whatever it is that butterflies harvest.........

Andy - you've won this one! Well done to you. Could you please choose a theme for NOVEMBER and start a new thread.
Congratulations - a truly wonderful photo.
Some absolutely fantastic photos this month - love your butterfly Martin! PB - the fields photo (second place!!) was great too but I particularly like the bales. NGR how did you persuade those sheep to pose so well - fab shot.
