oo how lovely! Looks like it was taken in the 1890's!

Mmm but how recent do they need to be haha

Maybe put it into the meet-up section so that it is not as available to casual browsers. I realise that they can still be seen by anyone determined, but it does keep them a bit more out of the general public eye if anyone is bothered

THE TIN Picture. if you look closely at the right hand of the lad on the left you will notice that it the same hand as lad on right. where it was folded his hand had disappeared so I had to do a bit of jiggling.also it was all cracked and peeling. I think it was taken about beginning of first world war.

Tom Jones and his orchestra, photographed outside the Grand Hotel, Eastbourne in the very early 30's........ that's my grandfather third from left - he went on to play with the Palm Court Orchestra, which was broadcast weekly from the Hotel (Grandad was the only member to have played in every broadcast)

While doing the family tree i have come across these photos
This is a group of fishermen from Thurso, the guy on the left is my grandmothers uncle, Angus McIntosh


and this is my great grandfather on my mother's fathers side!


My uncle Jim is a dead ringer for him
