Well, I had an interesting journey home today. They have closed the A96 just after Inverurie, and they take you back in to Inverurie out past rothiemay and then back via Colpy to the A96.

Going to work tomorrow is going to be interesting!

Meanwhile, a lorry containing cattle overturned at the Inveramsay bridge north of Inverurie on the A96.

The driver received treatment and a vet was called to the scene to assess the animals.

3 of our vets ended up dealing with the cattle truck, not a nice thing to have to deal with, by all accounts.

yes WG, that's the reason the A96 was closed. I assumed that it'd hit the bridge, but actually, it looks like it left the road on the bend before the bridge 'cos this morning there was a tree down and a huge amount of soil on the road. There are now mini traffic lights just before the bridge traffic lights.

I'll avoid that tonight.
