Related photos / videos £3.6m Lottery ticket left unclaimed National Lottery operator Camelot is appealing for the owner of the winning ticket - bought in the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey area of Scotland - to come forward and collect their prize.

The winning numbers in the September 23 midweek Lotto draw were 23, 25, 28, 41, 46 and 47.

The ticket-holder is owed £3,681,197 after they were the only one to match all six numbers. The ticket holder has until March 22 next year to claim the prize.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We urge players everywhere to check their tickets so we can pay out this fantastic jackpot prize and the ticket-holder can start to enjoy their win.

"The Lotto ticket hidden in a drawer, down the back of the sofa or just sat on the side could make you an instant millionaire.

"A life-changing cheque could be yours if you can match those six crucial numbers."

There are several other big wins that have not yet been collected in Scotland.

The owner of a £119,777 ticket bought in the Dundee area for the EuroMillions draw on August 28, and the holder of a £101,849 Lotto ticket bought in Glasgow for the May 6 draw, have still to come forward. Another lottery ticket holder in the Dumfries and Galloway area is owed more than £69,000 after matching five numbers and the bonus ball on July 15.

In England, the largest unclaimed prize is £286,508, from a ticket bought in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for the EuroMillions draw on July 24.
