I have always been firmly in the camp of "Exterminate the grey invaders and give our reds a chance" until my recent trip to Yorkshire.
I stood having a morning cuppa at my friends house and watched a grey squirrel playing on the lawn and discovered that I am a hypocrite !!
I could not have exterminated that amusing little greature, even if it is posing a danger to the reds that I love so much
I still feel that it should probably be done, but I am glad that I don't have to participate _________________ Sassinak

I know, they are cute and lovely to watch. I was watching a couple this morning playing in the park and having great fun.
Shame they compete for food and carry disease meaning that when the grey gets in the red suffers (from disease or starvation) _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |
