It is indeed I could hear the swallows but couldnt see them, had to look for ages they were so high up!
On the way home from work today I saw a beautiful sight... about a dozen-20 Lapwings flying in a field, never seen so many together before, was lovely to see, I did a double take from the motorway (wasnt driving tho ) |

Our swallows have gone...and their little ones....ahhh....and left us lots of poop to clear out of the shed. Is there such a thing as a happy grrrrr.
On the upside they've left a lovely wee nest which might be something for the little one to take into school and show. We'll have to think of a way of housing them outside the shed next year so they don't poop on everything. _________________ Better late than never! |

I couldn't figure out how the swallows had managed to get into the stables to nest until I happened to see them one day.
We have a hole punched in each door to thread a chain through so that we can padlock them when we are away. The holes are about 1.5 - 2" diameter and the swallows were happily using them as a doorway haha _________________ Sassinak
