Are earwigs endangered?
If so I will leave Ms wellies upside down on the fence posts where they were drying out as they are now home to dozens of earwigs.   If not, I'll get the hosepipe in them
Lisa.

Not endangered, but quite an interesting insect- one of the few non- social insects who look after their eggs and young.

Oh dear, I don't think I can do it.  I'll have to find out when their breeding season ends and clean them out then.  I hadn't noticed any here before so they are not a nuisance.  I think M has grown out of this pair of wellys anyway.
Lisa.
