Only in a polytunnel!! and that's well sheltered against the North wind that comes straight of the sea to us!
The peach was bought from Woolworths and was labelled as a nectarine. We got a few fruits last year to confirm that it wasn't a nectarine and this year it has proved it beyond any doubt!!
The smell is heavenly.....
The grapes pale into insignificance when compared with Welly/s's vine.....
We rescued our vine that had outgrown it's greenhouse near Banff. I didn't think it would survive as I had to chop away most of it's roots. Hopefully it will continue to grow and I can train it along the cropbars for enough fruit for wine. |
