New tatties - chopped, boiled, cooled. Huge blob of mayo (not forced myself to make it, but told it's not difficult ) handfull of chopped chives, and yummmm.
Leftovers go in the fridge and last about...erm...2 mins. Must remember not to carry that dam spoon around with me. _________________ Better late than never! |

I'd rather do without than buy it and it's a favorite here. _________________ Don't judge a book by it's cover. |

dont bother cooling the tatties noting better than warm tattie salad, def go with the onions
mayo dead easy to make esp if you have a food processor or electric wisk
4 egg yolks
1 3/4 cups vegetable oil
4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon mustard
mix all bar the oil in food processor then leave turned on full and drizzle the oil in slowly through the top hey presto home made mayo _________________ why do feet smell and noses run?

Rightiho - knew it wasn't tricky - that's white wine vinegar and mustard on the shopping list for tomorrow. It's far too tasty already, bet it's even better with home made mayo. Wish i had some left in the fridge...my spoon's at the ready...wonder what I'll find in there. _________________ Better late than never! |

maybe you should have a go at playing the spoons then youve got an excuse for carrying spoons, if anyone says anything then play a tune, if there still inquisitive then crack them on the head like a boiled egg. |

I made some tattie salad last week, as Maria's, but with the extra addition of fresh chopped mint... yum _________________ “I was not. I have been. I am not. I do not mind.”

| And if you're missing the mayo (or eggs for mayo), try it with a vinaigrette over the top absolutely delish and feels healthier |
