I've just watched this on DVD and it's a brilliant family film, although be warned, I actually got a bit upset during this one...the only film that has ever happened to me! I mean, I'd just finished watching Underworld:Evolution before it with all the gorieness etc (another good film), and then I actually get affected by a PG film!
Excellent story involving the imaginations of the kids. Takes you back to the days of long summers of adventuring without the worries of modern day adult life....... _________________ "God and our archers made them stumble" Agincourt, 25 October 1415 |

Cheers... I'll see if I can get hold of a copy to watch with my 13 year old.

We watched this one too and it is an excellent film.. My 2 loved it and its one of their alltime fav's now... they have watched it about 20 times! (both teenagers)
It does have a sad ending and there will be tears all round guaranteed _________________ http://www.folksy.com/shops/Townie |

I quite fancy it, but my middle child was sobbing over Fox & The Hound a couple of days ago, so perhaps we need to wait a while. _________________ No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood.

We watched it this week and absolutely loved it. Beautiful film, my 9yo who is very sensitive to films was fine but I wasn't!
