Brrrrrrrrr!!!! Yes, it's another cold and frosty morning. Beautiful.
I've not been brave enough to go outside and check the temperature yet though.

It must have been one of the coldest nights yet last night. The water in the chicks coop was frozen solid this morning, even inside the storage part....rock solid!! The frost isn't giving much today either.

It has been really cold here overnight as well, but today has been glorious. I've been out laying compost (on ground so frozen that I nearly fell when slipping) and mucking out rabbbits and poultry. I have plans for the playhouse - I reckon i can concrete the floor and keep livestock in there. ...

Much more cloud here today - not much sunshine apart from a little bit this morning. Everything is still frozen though - not sure how cold it's been.

Back from Tracey's in Somerset where it's been as drab, as it is here in Wiltshire today.
We stayed in, got snug, ate tons, drank an undisclosed amount of champagne, T's specially mixed loooooong dyinks, cava and really enjoyed ourselves.

Freezing here too - as have been the last <counts on fingers> few days. It is gorgeous though.
We put the salad stuff in the shed for xmas dinner. It froze solid. As did the tins of cat food......(not for xmas dinner I might add)
Oooops.
Still freezing weather, means frozen turf which means... <continues to sharpen iceaxes) |
