For the first time this season, the temperatures were below zero last night here (that's air temperature, ground has been frozen several times already):
-3.2 minimum, at the moment it's -0.4.

A better indicator though is the fact that the blimming water pipes are frozen... The ones in the sheds. Let's hope it gets a bit warmer during the day, otherwise I'll be carrying buckets for the sheep!

Personally , I much prefer this weather to the damp and not-quite-so-cold we had before.

Freezing here too this morning.... not helping my neck much. Remnants of a whiplash injury back in 2000 it's been sore for the last two days and I could barely lift my head this morning. I'm sat typing with a thick wooly scarf around my neck.

Looks beautiful - and YES I would far rather have this sort of weather than the damp and murky stuff.

We are off sausage tasting in a wee while YUM!!

Ha - and I'm still suffering with that sore neck... though I'll not grumble when it twinges in the future... now I know what REAL pain is.

Thank goodness this is a post that has been copied from the old forum though.... phew. I panicked that we'd seen snow somewhere or something.

Yeah, I thought of your neck, too, when I just copied this... Definitely not a new problem.

Wouldn't surprise me if we had snow somewhere! My house was 13 degree this morning ( I quickly went round and shut the windows), and the wind is pretty fresh.
