A pinch and a punch for the first of the month! Well, it's here, the 1st December, the last month of the year.

The weather outside is ok - a bit windy but dry at the moment. I hope it stays dry as I've got shopping to do today - real shopping with no supermarket.

The weekend forecast isn't so good though - especially over Sat night/Sunday morning.

I have just been down to get Lala from nursery and didn't bother with a coat. It is gorgeous here. A bit nippy but more October than December. There is a light breeze, a clear blue sky, with no clouds in sight.

Man, I must wash my kitchen windows! That is the drawback from having a sunny day - shows you up!

Draw the curtains, if you have any! I'm seriously contemplating getting blinds for the kitchen window...

It stopped raining some time between 6 and 7 this morning, so my drive was still flooded when I went across to work. But now - not a cloud in sight!

I dont have any window coverings in the kitchen. Just as well considering the amount of JUNK I keep on the window shelf!

When I went to collect Lala from nursery, it was gorgeous. We went without coats. Based on this, I decided to walk down to collect The Boy at 2.45 and also to post a friend's birthday present.

Mistake!

Although it looked much the same as it had all day, the temperature had dropped unbelievably and it was BALTIC! Poor little Rachel was crying and holding out her hands (yeah, I didn't take gloves, because it looked so NICE) and they were red with cold. She wouldn't put them in her pocketses. It took about 15 minutes of armpit snuggling to get them warm again

Anyway, it is currently raining and the wind has really gotten up. It is coming from the south again. Lala has jumped into my bed, because she doesn't like the sound of the wind and rain against her (south facing)window, and my bedroom faces north.

What a lovely day it's been... and now it's pouring down and windy too.

We didn't go without coats today - but we could have done I suppose.

I'm hoping for some good weather for the weekend but the last forecast i saw was not very hopeful.
