A play to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Piper Alpha will premiere at the re-opened Lemon Tree Studio Theatre next month.

Commissioned to mark the event by Aberdeen Performing Arts (His Majesty's Theatre) it will run from Wednesday 2 July to Sunday 6th July, the actual 20th anniversary and has been written by Aberdeen playwright Mike Gibb, who's most recent work was the Scottish musical play "Clarinda".

Tickets are on sale at the Aberdeen box office 01224 641122/ www.boxofficeaberdeen.com
