For those of you residing between Crathie and Cambus O'May your free copy of your award-winning community magazine, the Ballater & Crathie Eagle, will be hitting your doormats in the next 48 hours.

It's a very special edition - the 50th that the Eagle team has produced. Instead of the usual 60 pages, this issue is 92 pages with loads of colour. As usual it is packed with local information, eclectic writing, wonderful work from Ballater and Crathie schools, poetry, local history and much more.

Copies are also available from Yules newsagents, Ballater library and what used to be the tourist information office in Crathie. We will also be putting a copy on the web at the weekend and I will post the url when it is available.

Thanks for that Fia!! Do you think you could bring a copy with you on Saturday please  I'm finding it a bit difficult to read online as it's set up for printing and thus the pages are in a strange order.

Of course I will WG Anyone else going to the food co-op wanting a copy?

We did once put it on the web in page order, but were inundated with emails complaining it didn't work when folk printed it
