That time of year again, when you need to be careful when outside, you can still burn in cloudy weather at this time of year

so if you want a nice tan and be good to the skin too, this is what I recomend.

use a body scrub all over your body(not your face) wash it off in the shower, and put plenty of sun cream on....when you go back indoors for the night....use a body polish to take off access grease, and the dead skins cells that have died during the day, wash polish off and the apply plenty of moisturiser...this will then not only make your tan last longer...but stop your skin dehydrating as well....but remember.....too much sun can age you a lot faster than normal, and some cases cause skin cancer.   so high factors are best!

body scrub:
course sea salt
olive oil
fragrance oil of your choice

fill a jar with course seasalt, add to olive oil 4-8 drops of fragrance oil of your choice and then add to sea salt(dont need much oil).

body polish is similar....

change seasalt to a 50/50 mix of caster sugar and table salt

when using...rub gently in small circles ...starting at the bottom of the body and working your way up towards the heart(this will also help the circulation in your body).Shower of with a gentle shower gel, and pt your skin dry rather than rub it dry(dont want to cause too many wrinkles ), so again you dont damage your skin.

hmm - I've only got seasalt with wild garlic in it - think I'd better get some plain stuff (though it might work as an insect repellent haha)

Sounds good Kimmie - I'll give it a shot.

I'm staying pale and interesting, it's safer
I did the weeding under a huge golf umberella last year so i wouldn't get burned.

Oooh no I love the sun - I know it's bad for me, but so is smoking, alcohol and many other things that I enjoy
I'm lucky in that I don't seem to burn and go brown fairly easily.
I've just this minute come in from the garden and can still feel  myself "purring" from the warmth and sun on my back  It makes everything seem so much better

I seem to get caught out so easily. It looks cloudy and the wind burns me instead I've been searching for a face moisturiser with a SPF that is greater than 15 for years.
Don't suppose anyone knows of one do they?
