I had a phone call from the couple who supply us with piglets this evening and he tells me he has some available. He must have acquired a saddleback sow as well because he mentioned that some of the piglets were that breed.
The Old Spot sow is due to farrow quite soon so they will be ready in a few months. Not sure about the Tamworth sow but she usually has a litter before the old spot so there may be some of them too.
I asked him about price and was told between thirty and forty pounds depending on age/size, which is a decent commercial rate and I can vouch for his stock. These have been on grass so will be good and hardy for outdoor rearing.
If anyone wants his phone number, pm me and I will supply it. I will probably see them at the weekend as I'm selling him my left over feed and going over to look at his hay. If anyone wants me to ask him anything, let me know before the weekend.
