"no brainer" - you poor thing - do you think it wise to advertise the fact that you have none? _________________ http://solarwind.org.uk |

I once photographed a young "lady" who wanted to be a "moddawl", I asked her if she liked Kipling, and she replied "dunno, never kippled!" _________________ http://solarwind.org.uk |

some from my previous life of working with US/Canada and Hong Kong IT....
'soup to nuts' was one that confused me, till I realised it was 'the whole thing' ie from soup course to nuts after dinner.
'keep me honest' means Im not going to be at all honest and you wont get a millisecond to interrupt me and point it out but you'll be bound by what I am saying.
'breadcrumbs', IT speak for the route users have to move through a series of pages in a process (like hansel and gretel left in the wood)
'soft launch' means we're not ready to go live really but the Chairman has told the FSA/Bank of England that we are so we do but dont tell anyone apart from 3 gerbils living in Swindon who are now confused by the user guide and using it as bedding. _________________ Happiness is a Haflinger! |

My massive dislikes right now are lol, pmsl, rofl.
Probably because they're so overused!! _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |

lol I know what you mean rofl
I find myself guilty of that overuse and often hit the backspace.
I once counted up the number of times someone said 'you know' in a conversation. Can't remember how many times but it was a LOT. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |
