use of the word "fact" on it's own, as an expletive.....
I'm fed up OF........... (aaaaarrrghhh)
"at this moment in time" (where do they expect it to be? - this moment in custard?)
Inappropriate use of one's christian name by some patronising eejit in the mistaken idea that it will somehow endear them to you..........
"because you're worth it" - from an ugly, raddled overpaid old slapper who couldn't act her way out of a paper bag
"let's action this"............ whaaaa?
"step change"- new staircase?- why? what's wrong with the old one?
"putting product on the shelves" - what happened?, is there an international shortage of "s's"...........give me back my stolen plural!
"to have issues"- packet of tissues? - do you mean "don't like, or disapprove?" - well bally well say so!
Virtually anything uttered by those engaged in management or local government spouting boll*ckese
Roofs for rooves, dwarfs for dwarves, and other similar creeping americanisms
and last but not least, the trendy, affected "glottal stop" as practised by politicians to prove their street cred (apparently George Osborn has paid a coach to teach him to do it)
That's it Miss Lumley, read me "Rebecca", and gently stroke my brow whilst I recover...........

'like' as in I did that like ! Like what ???
Do these have to be verbal or can I include textese and American spellings of colour, programme and the like - Britain had the language first, so we are correct !!!!

You mention "like", but a few guys I knew on the west coast did something like that but each sentence ended with BUT...
ie... I went out and had a few pints BUT...
She came round and we had a night in BUT...
all you ever thought was BUT F****** WHAT?
they used (and still do use it) as a full stop (or some other type of period, question mark, etc) |

The Irish sometimes do the same thing by adding 'so'. Or is that just on Father Ted
I quite like those little quirks of dialect. You have one up here that seems to have universal versatility; Well, well............

Yeah, once you were used to it, it was okay-ish, but to start with it was just odd.
I have a b*stardised accent/dialect at best, due to bouncing about a bit when we were younger... people seem to hear a mix of Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen... personally, I heard myself on video at xmas and wondered who'd let "Lachie" from Hamish Macbeth into our house that xmas
...but people in the west just north of Glasgow seem to have a need to be "weegie" of a sort |

Oooh, where to start.... I am riled by apparent confusion between singular and plural, e'g.:
Misuse of "less" and "fewer". the first is singular, the second plural. Why is that so hard?
Media (the plural of medium) used as singular e.g. the media is....
The same issue with data (which is plural) and datum (which is singular)
I couldn't agree more about "like" like 
But then I am known for being somewhat pedantic....

There is a school of thought that US English is actually more correct than UK English, as the (English) founding fathers took the language as used at the time, which had many variable spellings - even Shakespeare spelled his name in different ways - and therefore etymologically speaking US English is "purer" than ours. Not saying i agree, just pointing it out... think I need to re-read Bill Bryson's "Made in America" again....
