Thanks to all for the additional replies.
I'll check out the Scots Ads lady & see if I can find the place Keith wards.
We're closer to the Forres/Nairn side of Moray, so I'll have to factor in the travel costs to see if there are any cheaper options from further east.
Kind regards

That's why I don't bother because I reckon the saving isn't sufficient to justify the special journey for us.
You can save a lot of money by buying in bulk, even if you buy it bagged. Why not see if you can find some other people in your own area and get a tonne or a half tonne between you all?
Well...unless you have a lot of hens yourself - you may not need to share for all I know. _________________ It is better to light a candle than to rail against the darkness

Hi Julie
We've got 11 mouths to feed at the mo - 4 ex-commercial layers, 3 Salmon Faverolle Hens & their gentleman friend, 2 pekin ducks and a solitary Golden Brahma.
We intend to get some more Brahma - our current one is turning (slowly) into a magnificent boy & I think he deserves some nice ladies.
It always goes like this - you start off with a couple & somehow the flock just grows & grows, I really don't know how it happens
Kind regards

know the feeling, we started off with a handful, and ended up with 3,000!
After a long break we've started again with 7 bantams.......... _________________ http://solarwind.org.uk |

In that case, you'll soon be overrun Martin
We were once given half a dozen Bantams and a cock and by the end of the summer we had over 50.......bred like rabbits.......... _________________ It is better to light a candle than to rail against the darkness
