Just purchased a duel fuel camp cooker..yes doing a bit of camping...I need to get a jerry can to carry the fuel.  

What would be better a plastic one or metal?

yeah but is it best for carrying the boot of a car over long distances in hot weather?

you may be better buying a couple of the 1 gallon cans instead, its a lot easier for lifting, filling etc.

5 litres to a can, but your better off with 4 , unless you want to spill it and stink of petrol, or parrafin, im not certain what your heater does

It's a duel fuel cooker I picked up for a bargain price today at £25 off it!

Been doing a bit of reading and some say plastic is ok whilst others say, as I have seen, they can 'blow out' with the heat which is something we don't want in the back of the car.

I am looking at a 5ltr metal and have asked the seller, yep fleabay, what weight it would be full.

by the way wouldn't even consider a 20ltr one....that would be nearly half my height for start!
