They have to pay to have them taken away and disposed of, so they are more than happy to let you have anything that isn't going for re -treads. I sometimes pick up a few trailer loads from Charlie Chalmers at Glenbarry. We use them for various things. Hmmm... only thing I can think you could use trail loads of tyres for is for safety barriers round a race track... you have your own private race track If you weren't going to use the tyre yourself, and no-one else wanted it you could always speak to the local farmer, who might be able to use it on top of the silage pit (or a spare for the tractor depending on how "resourceful" he happens to be).
