A thread for all our wonderful skipping finds!
I'll start with my galvanized giant chicken feeder found next to the bins at local recycling depot |

and todays haul
5 huge plastic plant pots
A new egg basket
A random woven basket
A hanging basket
All in immaculate condition!
Tip for recycling recycling hauls - a bit of long stick with a hook on the end is invaluable

Ha ha - good tip on the stick! I remember when I was little and my Grandad would come back with loads of treasures. I don't think he ever actually bought a bike but always owned one |

Ok today has to go down in history as one of the best skipping days I have ever ever, EVER had!
15, yes 15 ex scaffolding planky things
24 paving slabs
2 tractor tyres
2 lorry tyres

Excellent Finds!
I've been keeping an eye on freecycle & Gumtree for paving slabs...
Wonder if the nice man at our local recycling centre would part with some if I asked nicely |

Honest its so worth just sticking your neck out and asking. I was petrified. You might get gruff reposte but on the other hand...
Todays find were via a builders skip. I was rabidly enthusing over its contents and think the guy was too scared to argue he seemed delighted to find a way of getting rid of his tyres and looked visibly concerned for my mental health when I cracked up after he told me he'd just burnt another 15 scaffolding planks... |
