I have struck lucky again - only this time I did it by accident.

Little tip - if you are looking to buy a new property, look for one in very close proximity to a dairy farm, because they get priority treatment so that the milk tanker can get through lol
This is the third time that I have managed it. Last time was on purpose. The dairy farm swayed the balance in favour of one particular property haha

Having said all that, it doesn't help that our driveway slopes up to the road and you can't get out if there is ice. Eventually the new driveway should cure that but there is a d**ned caravan in the way lol so we can't finish the new driveway yet and I can't see myself spending any more money on this temporary one, just to have to undo it and turn it into garden eventually.
It's very sad, it means poor Phil has to stay at home and can't get to work lol

Well Ive admitted defeat and am officially iced in now....took L down the track to meet a taxi to take him to the airport so I could make my choir rehearsal (last main one before Doomsday!). But coming back up the track, even with diff lock on (high ratio) on the Landrover, not braking not overrevving and doing everything right, I was sliding all over the place.

So I have told the choir they wont be seeing me tonight!

And am just about to order a tonne load of rock salt, always assuming they can get it up the ice floe sorry track to get it to me.

The prob is the broom on the sides of the track (and its deep track) stop any sun getting to it.

Its probably me JoH didnt seem to have any probs getting to us! Maybe I just need more skill and training, but that would take practice!
