<scans horizon>
<taps feet awaiting The Big Storm>
It was cold and snowed a bit. Then it was gorgeously sunny. I got stuck once between Potarch and Ballogie and was followed by a twat in a VW Estate who insisted he drive up my bum because thats going to make me go faster on roads that make Ice Road Truckers look positively summery...
To you Sir, a one fingered salute. |

we had some ponce in a rangerover doing the same.
I've already told work that if it snows over night, I won't be coming in.
Anyone know how to make it snow?
it's blinkin' cold here now. but we didn't get any more snow.

Awful here because the semi-thawed stuff has frozen and the whole place is a polished ice rink. If it snows on top of this, we have real problems. We have 4 wheel drive cars but they won't go up the drive because of the ice _________________ Sassinak

Still no snow here in peterhead but it is cold.
the lake is still frozen at mintlaw, the snow has now frozen solid hard, can not see getting the car in to the estate for a few days and the lake is gonna be frzen for a while yet the around the edges is about 3-4 inches with a thick crust of snow on top.
the sky has started to cloud over so snow should not be far away now - the online forcast i use for the fishery says mintlaw should get snow from 9 although i bet it will rain here in peterhead like it did yesterday while evry one else got snow _________________ why do feet smell and noses run?

Our wee road was icy as **** but had enough traction to move on it (couldn't say much for stopping ability on it after a quick test though )
It's certainly got a lot colder here but so far, not seen any extra snow. |

-7c when i got back from work around 1930. wee road was white and icy but not too bad. track is fine, no bends and no fence or wall to hit so can skid all i want down it!
Got snow tyres fitted last week and they make a big difference, our neighbour had to get pushed up the hill whilst i managed to drive behind no problem, it helps if you stay in 2nd too.
