Mooncups and velcro iiiicckkkk!!!
I'm coming up to the 24 hour mark with mooncup (not overnight though apparently can) and I love it. Yes trial at first (getting it out first time, I don't know about velcro but a plunger came to mind!!!!!) but worth it. Now I'm feeling sussed and pleased bought it.
Velcro and pads wise. Will be a very proud bunny if I manage to create something useable. Determined though. _________________ www.womblehouse.blogspot.com

I once read a hilarious account of a moon cup - I'll see if I can find it. _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

I've used one for well over a year now and wouldn't be without it. _________________

I'm happy with mine now. I read quite a lot before getting it but the one bit they missed out, I call the 'boing Factor.' The walk out of the bathroom to the kettle and then i think it must have suddenly opened and I levitated rapidly!!!! _________________ www.womblehouse.blogspot.com

I bought one a few months ago and I have yet to muster up the courage to use it _________________ Ann Pan

Hi,
I won't say that the first day isn't weird if like me you used something else for....ick 24 years but by day 2, (for me anyway) it became normal. If you decide to try, go for a day in when everyone else is out. Have a laugh at your self, (I did).
Good luck

How are they for physical exercise? I mean I use disposable pads at the moment and then tampons as it draws to an end. I've tried reuseable pads (horrible and didnt stay in one place) and once tried a mooncup (or might have been the other one) but didnt get on with it. I have quite a heavy flow every other month (the inbetween month is quite light) and with hanging upside down and bounding around rock climbing I'm worried they might er....well...
I'd like to use one |

I have never had any problems with mine leaking at all and I am always quite heavy for the first couple of days (without the mooncup I have to use both tampon and pad).
I don't do rock climbing but handle sheep (sometimes feels more like wrestling really must work on my technique!) and do the usual heavy lifting work involved with animals (think 40 bales of hay!!) with no problems. _________________ xxx Mrs G xxx |
