I had liquorice ice cream from a little cabin on Arran. It was absolutely wonderful. In a double cone with coconut in the other half Mmmmm
How do you melt pomfret cakes? Or Pontefract cakes as my mother knew them. South Yorkshire used to be a huge liquorice growing area so I assume that the originals were made at Pontefract. They have to be Bassets, imitation ones are not the same at all _________________ Sassinak
