Just got absolutely soaked to the skin while feeding the chooks - quite an icy feel to the rain too.
It stayed dry while we had our extremely ungreen trip to Glen Tanar to collect a tree. NINE cars to take approximately 25 people and then we collected a rather nice cut tree. Apparently they don't do rooted ones there.
We all enjoyed a rather yummy cake and coffee (juice for the children) at the Corner House in Aboyne. Thumbs up to the very friendly and efficient staff there - and a thanks for putting up with us to the other folk that had gone in for a 'quiet' coffee!!! _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

What - isn't that what winter is all about? I usually have two woolly jumpers on, and under that vest, t-shirt, roll-neck cotton top - and sometimes a cardi over all that, or my sheepskin waistcoat... Long johns are mandatory, as well as two pairs of woolly socks. Much cheaper and better for the environment than turning your heating on! |
Hee-hee, can just see you Ina!! Think we'll just stay in the shed over winter...probably more economical to heat!!!!! _________________ In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog |
