Oh these are really good.
Kimmie - that could almost be Matt standing there! What a likeness.
Harry - thanks so much for sharing these photos (and your memories) with us. I asked about the Towie cheesemakers and apparently rolling the cheese to Aberdeen was something that quite a few people used to do but we're investigating further! _________________ Neeps Flickr Group - check out some of the fab photos from other Neepsters and share some of your own. |

What a joy.
I've never spotted this thread before. Thank you so much Marhar - and everyone else - I've just had a lovely walk through time. Must remind myself to have a good rummage through my mums albums next time I visit. She has some great b&w family pics, and now I have a reason to borrow them. _________________ Better late than never! |

BUMP
I said ages ago I'd post some photo's here. Believe it or not I've not been home to rummage through my mum's photo box yet. She's visiting soon - must remember the treasure chest.
Anyhow...I was reminded of this thread mooching around the web when I found this. I remember Ina saying the hats are interesting. Might interest you Marhar - if you've not spotted it already.
Hat Nostalgia blog - some wonderful photo's http://hat-nostalgia.blogspot.com/ _________________ Better late than never! |
