His final comment before closing down comments on his blog was
| Quote: | Stonehead (11:15:50) :
Chris, I’m glad to see someone shares my sense of humour. Thanks for the offer of help and also to MLA for her offer, too.
If you want to drop by at some point for a cuppa, the company would be welcome but we’re not accepting any further help as it’s too much hassle. I’m closing comments on this post for now and have shut down the feedback form as well.

PD ~> like you I am gobsmacked. Would they say things like that to his face? Depends how much alcohol they've had to drink I suppose. This is what has always concerned me about blogs, forums, chat-rooms. You hide behind a screen name and pulverise some other poor sod in a cowards manner. GRRRRR! |

I know. It's such a sad situation.
I am inclined to think that if Stoney's accident wasn't deliberate, it was as a result of completely careless driving by the WVM. DH almost had a nasty accident which involved a white van back in 2003. He was on his way back from Westhill and overtook a white van. As he was engaged in this maneuver the white van pulled out to overtake a car in front of him! This left DH with nowhere to go except the grass verge! I don't think the white van driver even knew DH was there and carried on his merry way in a state of oblivion. |

| doubt it, he knew...pulled out to go past then sharply back in for no reason as there was no other traffic. Also his trike would have been lit up like a Christmas tree and it's no small vehicle |

FM
Can't beleive that anyone who goes out of their way to read his blog then responds the way they have done.
Feel like I need to mention something about not all scooby drivers being the same as one of the replies on that page, unfortunately there seem to be more and more like that everywhere now . |

I was really shocked too ...I would have thought that anyone who works as hard as Stoney and as low impact on the environment he lives in by growing all his own stuff etc would be supported 100% - after all those around him benefit from it. :? _________________ Happiness is a Haflinger! |

What's a scooby? A van? Speaking as a van driver, I think it unlikely that someone would risk damaging their van out of malice and can only assume it's perhaps someone used to driving a small car who doesn't realise the clearance you have to allow - no excuse of course. I also was astonished at the horrible comments. I can't believe someone would be so wilfully nasty in response to a bad incident in someone's life.
Off with their heads, I say
