I was just cleaning the 'dog nose' off the windows - twice daily task

I realised I had never mentioned this although I've been doing it for years.

Keep any old windscreen wiper blades that are still usable to use as a window squeegee. They actually work much better than those things with the handles on because they are longer and leave the window clean and streak free in one or two passes.

Does anyone have any other ideas for recycling old car parts? - besides putting them into other cars of course.
It might even make a good '101 uses for' thread
