What to do with wine must.....Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the use of the wine must when finished with? I've just got another batch of elderberry on the go and have the remnants of the squished fruit left over. On the basis that this has part fermented is it suitable for compost?

Fine on compost, and perfect for any ruminants you happen to have around... My goats love it!

What you mean other than make more alcohol with?

Most of the taste will have gone out of it, so you may get a bit of alcohol from it, but not a lot, and it won't taste nice!

Thanks for that. It's gone in the compost now so hopefully should be ok.
The wine's bubbling nicely in the kitchen!

it composts really well but flies and wasps love it too so worth covering if you can
