Well done scotland from One hundred months.orgBelatedly opened my 'One Hundred Months' email newsletter and spotted this. Thought i'd share the news.

Scotland has recently passed its own greenhouse gas reductions target of 42 percent by 2020. It includes legally binding annual cuts in emissions from 2012. And it gets better ... Scotland's target is in line with what the world's leading scientists tell us is needed to avoid global temperature rise above 2 degrees Celsius. With many developed countries claiming that this kind of target cannot be achieved, Scotland has set the standard ahead of the global summit in Copenhagen at the end of this year. Well done Scotland and congratulations to all One Hundred Months partners who worked on this one.
