Not snowing here but it did a bit through the night - thus the roads are not great again - especially as the tractor plough came and scraped up all the grit that was put down yesterday GRRR. Cold though, but lots and lots of lovely sunshine.

Well all the roads until about Newmachar were fairly icy and still had snow on them, roads are completely clear from there into Dyce though.
Again though, our road is the worst, but still easily passable with care. Again though the bl00dy school is shut... no idea why this time... seem to close at the drop of a hat these days.

Our single track road is pretty bad, and that is the only way to the main road 3 miles away for us. Both school kids are off again, not that they are unhappy about it, but they were yesterday when thet actually HAD to go

Yeah, we've a similarish distance to get to the main road, like I say, it wasn't much better. Am hoping that the sun (out at the moment in Dyce) burns off a good amount of it, but I can't see it going too quick. Then, like some places in England I seen on the TV, we'll have the flooding instead

the postie made it through today so we thought we could. What a mistake that was. Our car is now stuck at the bottom of our driveway. We managed to get to the base of the next hill before coming to a halt.
we had snow over night, and things do seem to be melting, but not the snow on the road it seems.

Well today I managed to get to midmar to get the sheep nuts ready for their arrival (whenever that will be given the snow). we only had a tiny flurry last night. weird weather. still cant get the car nearer than a mile from the house tho so everything has to be carried a mile up the track on foot by me. sheep nuts still in landrover in the hope OH can get the tractor down there to fetch them when he arrives for the weekend!

Well I'm officially well p***** off... was nipping round to see a mate to drop off some money and the snow on the road had melted... unfortunately that still didn't make me see the massive pot hole any quicker (one of many) so that looks like a knackered front tyre now (which isn't cheap when they are 235/35/19s).
On the upside the roads seem clear of snow here now, just full of bl00dy potholes.

I like snow - On Christmas cards and photographs and even through the window when I'm warm and cosy and don't have to go out in it
But you've had your fun and I've had enough now thanks. Can you call it off please lol

Just watched a 4x4 pickup come off the road....his own fault...he was going fast...he is ok, and got himselt out ok...but i doubt he will slow down!

We've had no snow for 2-3 days now apart from a sprinkling like icing sugar last night! Sun has been out most of the day.

Yeah, got a bit of a shock when the lassie in the office mentioned that... 5 mins earlier I'd looked out and it still looked sunny.
