We have chicksPut ten eggs into the incubator and now have three healthy chicks  Had four but one had to be dispatched on hatching as it was malformed (insides on the outside  ).
Pleased with the three as they were hatched from a friend's free 'random fairly fresh eggs lying about in the byre' so weren't sure on age or fertility! 
One yellow chick and two black and yellow.
They are either
warren x leghorn or
(warren x leghorn) x leghorn or
(warren x leghorn) x (warren x leghorn)
I think that's all the options

Oh wonderful.
I love chicks it doesn't matter how many you hatch it's exciting every time

The pekins are doing well by the way, it'll be some of their eggs in the incubator next

I've got a dozen or so of their chicks running around at the moment. It would have been more but I had a broodie committing infanticide !!!
I can't hatch any more until they stop sitting on their bums and lay some eggs lol

I had 2 hens sitting on the same nest and now I have 4 chicks with 2 mums, they are really funny, but getting along alright.
