I did a bunch of fire fighting training for my job- crawling through blimmin hot rooms with Breathing Apparatus, search and rescues, hose running etc and I loved it! It is something I would seriously consider when I want a career change. My pal is in the brigade and he thinks it is great.

I used to have a bloke work for me who was in the reserves. He was late for work one day, and when he came in, he had been late because he was at a really bad fire. He recused two kids from upstairs. Saved their lives. I gave him the day off
