Didn't know which title to put this thread in - so hope this is an okay spot - I will see by the response I guess.

I have signe dup to freecycle to help me track down unloved green cones and also the KOMP compost bins (the ones with rods and panels).

I placed this thread under gardening, but wasn't sure if everyone would see it, so going to give it a bash here as well. Have had a little success in redistributing unwanted green cones - so please get in touch.

As I talk to people at events, I get asked by people already composting, if I have a stock of spare parts for the KOMP style bins, as the lids especially can fly up, and break the rods that hold them in place.

The other thing is people who for one reason or another give up on their green cones.

This made me think, that perhaps I should see if members of NEEPS had spares for the compost bins, so that I could perhaps collect them centrally, to be redistributed. The same with unloved green cones.
