That time might be now - I just looked on the library website and found one copy - it's not available until 04.06.2009

I think I will try and get hold of a copy for the Neeps library.

You can also read it here

Also worth checking out www.richardheinberg.org

'Peak Everything' is an excellent book by him, very accessible and goes much deeper than just the facts and figures.

However not for the faint-hearted!

Check out this site and some of the press coverage as well which is excellent!

One of the things they instigated was the local council provided the majority of councill tenants with a grow-your-own starter pack ( seeds, compost, instructions etc...) for free to help them get started growing their own vegies. Great idea!

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's annoying that some authorities are so 'with it, and many more aren't makes me think about the different situations. The geography, the local economy, the local history and the local people. From the bottom or the top?

Thanks for that link, Maria. I'm thinking of moving to the area, and so it's great to see so many likeminded groups/people in one place -makes me feel quite excited!
