Was watching recorded half of gardeners world while ironing yesterday and they talked about feeding your toms, Comfrey. This is my big plan but only got as far as one plant right now. I've some old (2 years?) organic plant food, plus a tiny bit of seaweed food, left from sample pot from Organic Gardening catalogue.

b: which toms do you take tips off and from where? I've got wee cherry ones and normal ones, (Olirose and Tigerella but labels faded)

Needless to say recording deleted and sieve-struck again

Hmm I was going to gather some comfrey from the field across the road - until I realised that the farmer has sprayed it all!!!!! WHY?? It's right near to the water too - or was. It is now looking virtually dead.
