tincture of feverfew

Im currently taking feverfew daily in order to reduce my headaches.
Does anyone know how they make a tincture of a herb? Its quite expensive (£9 for 50ml) and we have some feverfew at home (and can easily get more). Can I just make a tea of it and boil it down, surely its not that easy.

yes it is that easy james....i take feverfew from the leaf...and just put it in a sandwhich to hide the bitter taste...and that works well
Just bring them to boil and then simmer the them down to a thick liquid...strain and use sparingly
