Thurs 21st MayJust had window shaking thunder, and lightning which made the electric go off for a minute  halestones too, and now its pi ing down hopefully it will have got it out of its system by tomorrow afternoon  all my chickens are hiding

I had to run for shelter.
I was putting the mesh on panels for this big chicken run. I think I'll have a break from doing that at the moment lol

Had a funnel cloud here yesterday, over the sea,at lunch time.
No rain here yet but OH and Andy had a few drenchings at Mintlaw-10miles away.

Still had a covering of hailstones here when we got home the night as well... couldn't believe it 'cos I'd only seen sun and a little light rain all day, although the kids were going on about the thunder and lightning they seen during the afternoon.
Power must have been off here for a bit as well 'cos the phone needed the time/date set again.
