Thurs 1st january 2009Well the frost from the last couple of days has lifted today and replaced with a dark, wet and dreich day. Started putting the lights on inside before 3pm. So dark today.

it didnt freeze here last night,  and its been a low mist most of the day

Froze here! The water froze in the caravan yesterday and was -10 here last night, although it thawed a lot today and water finally came on at about 4pm here! (House water ok tho).

Blimey what a difference. It thawed around 9pm last night (can't remember exact time but know I was watching a dvd and all of a sudden the roof started dripping - metal roof = condensation = indoor rain showers. I'm just glad I wasn't sitting under the drip)
There was a touch of frost on the ground this morning but nowhere near -10 and it's been dull and miserable all day.
Glad you had water at the house L&M.
