The seven ages of BritainI have been watching this series on Channel 4 at 10.30 am for the last two days and it is very interesting.
I think it will really appeal to all the history buffs out there.
As the title suggests, I think there are probably five more episodes to go.

Yes, I caught this today at work too. Very interesting.
It's nice to see a few good british history programmes on TV, especially as the 'UKTV History channel' seems to thing that most of UK history is WW2 or the antiques roadshow!

You know, I nearly sent you a pm as I remembered how interested you are in this sort of thing. Gordon is saving them all on DVD so we can see them more than once.

Excellent. I only managed to catch a couple unfortunately as it was whilst on day shift at work...but people keep disturbing me wanting stuff to fix jets, and I then miss bits! 
I have just won the complete set of Simon Schama's History of Britain on Video for 99p on ebay though, so I'm looking forward to that arriving!
