The Extreme PilgrimPPG here - I've been watching 'The Extreme Pilgrim' on BBC2 on Friday at 9pm. There have been 2 and the last is next Friday. A Church of England vicar goes to China & India to look for spiritual enlightenment & despite being a atheist I found it enjoyable & thought some of you might.

I watched it, and thought he was being rather a bit too 'mystical' - expecting some sort of divine flash or something. He was doing the whole 'wax on, wax off' thing (with the brooms, and walking up the stairs). I think the programme had huge potential that was ruined by the presenter. Pity.

Mmm, agreed. I enjoyed seeing the other faiths in action but felt he was never going to achieve what he set out to.
