TED - better than telly?Try this next time you want to watch something 'good'. It has heaps of inspiring and entertaining talks. I've been watching for some time and get the feeling I've hardly scraped the surface.

If you want to bypass everything - as there is a lot there - you can go straight to the green future theme http://www.ted.com/index.php/themes/a_greener_future.html

TVI watched the thing on Charles at 8.30 on 1 I think. I've really liked him for a long time, I like the way he uses his position to get people together to try and sort out green issues, landshare, organics, non GM, the list is endless. I don't think he should shut up, as some say so, that would be a waste.
I realize this maybe a comment some would disagree with???? Not sure?? Should the Royals be in the debating chamber??? Maybe I'm talking to Diana lovers???

I watched part of the Charles thing - couldn't find the remote to turn over and too idle to get off bum lol
But I found myself liking him more and more as the programme went on. Which surprised me lol

I am not into the Royals at all, but I really do admire Prince Charles for the work he's done and think Camilla is ok too.

TVOh I'm a Diana lover too!!!
I agree, I'm not a Royal family lover but I like that he cares about the environment and society and is doing his best to help. I would hate to be him, forever watched, commented on, public, polite, better to be a person with private freedom.

Who else has their job lined up for them at birth and are still waiting to start at 60. It must be so frustrating for him.
As he said himself, he is mocked for championing the causes he feels strongly about and would be equally mocked if he sat on his bum and said nothing.
