Yeah, just watched it. Quite impressive really.
I certainly wouldn't fancy going back out to my car in Rome in the morning!!

no, that was just gross.
I couldn't believe the mayfly swarms, billions of them on every light and window.
I thought the reaction of the locals to the quilla birds was a bit extreme and I definitely don't want to try lake fly burgers.

was a brilliant program though, and there is another one next week!
loved the fish bit though....how do you explain to a hospital that you are injured due to being hit by a dozen fish jumping out of the water at you

SwarmsI agree about the birds and the burgers. I thought they may have caught some birds to eat? There was a lot of food there but surely the explosions would do loads of damage and potentially cause fires?
I've been enjoying Alan Titchmarsh's Britain ones again.

Yes, the exposives were certainly very drastic and probably damaged a good proportion f the land too...rather a stupid thing to do really.
It makes you wonder if they maybe had more larger predators, birds of prey etc that have been driven to extinction that may have originally kept numbers down?
And being slapped by a wet fish in the face..!! It's got Monty Python written all over it! But it's certainly going to hurt!
