Sub forumsIs it such a good idea to have so many sub forums within the forums themselves?
I mean I know that it's good to keep everything as well organised as possible but sometimes it just means opening more and more pages to see whats there (although I do tend to use the "new posts" option most of the time).
just wondered what everyone elses thoughts were?

I think if you take livestock as an example - there are many neepsters who keep chickens and have no interest in sheep or pigs, so splitting it between 2 legs and 4 legs makes a lot of sense.
I tend to read most that is posted anyway

Yeah, it was as much having the likes of the weather diary sub forum in weather... wouldn't have thought there would be that much of a distincion between the two
But yes, I tend to read most of it as well.

It was done in an attempt to keep the main forum index a wee bit shorter - let's see how it goes for a wee while... we can easily change it back if it doesn't work for us.
Thanks for the comments though - it really does help to hear what people are thinking
