Do you wash them - do you (if you buy them) buy organic? Does a quick rinse under the tap make much difference to what you are eating?

I get mine from our local PYO farm near Brodie, but I don't think they're organic as far as I know. I always give them a rinse off when I get them back as we buy a large quantity of them to make loads of jam as well as eating them.
They've never killed me yet

Organic are next to impossible to get - and yes, I would definitely wash strawberries... OK, once in a while I couldn't wait until I got home, so the ones I had in the car didn't get washed - and yes, I'm still alive!
