does anyone have a sharp scythe i could borrow , just for th day, preferably near me, i just want to cut my comfrey down i a few foul swoops, no harm will come to it, and ill pay with a heap of comfrey for your compost or for soaking.

I've been looking to pick one up for our rough and sloping garden. I noticed someone else was looking for one a few years ago. It seems BA stores stock them for £40..plus you need to buy the shaft..£3-£10 depending on what you want.

Wish me luck... this year I should get the thistles down before they set seed!
